A civil marriage ceremony allows you complete freedom of choice
You choose the date, the time, the place, the words, the music and how you wish the ceremony to be conducted.
The ceremony can take however long you want it to take. You can include any poems, readings, music, or cultural symbols if you wish. Family and friends may participate in the ceremony if you would like them to.
The venue for the ceremony is limited only by your imagination - home, garden, park, reception centre, restaurant, hotel, tourist attraction, beach, golf club, bowls club, and former church buildings (i.e. Churches which no longer belong to a religion) are available.
